It was more than once that you have heard that name, right? Indeed, today it is the Name that the best Russian Black Terriers are proud to wear in many countries across the globe. Zolotoy Grad is one of the strongest and largest kennels internationally. Our dogs are victorious at all prestigious exhibitions in Moscow and abroad and are winners of World, Europe, Club, Eurasia and Russia Championships. But that is today, but then it was all just about to begin...
Owning an male Black Terrier, a World Champion, International Champion and famous breeder, giving away alimentary pups and communicating with their owners, I came across the question concerning future breeding. Time went by and the owners of my pups kept asking me whether it was the right moment to become a kennel. That is how in 1999 Zolotoy Grad was formed. The first steps and the first victories; we were a band of enthusiasts and friends, we took great effort and it paid off! Our pets grew and became famous, turned into great breeders. Success came fast.

In 2000 a first brood female Alyonuska s Zolotogo Grada became a Young World Vice Champion; the same year a second kennels brood female Ballada s Zolotogo Grada became Young Champion of Europe.

In 2002 the first World Champion emerged from the kennel: Vsevolod s Zolotogo Grada.

In 2003 inBratislava Nikola Gorynych s Zolotogo Grada became a 2003 Young Champion of Europe and his sister Nefertiti s Zolotogo Grada a Young Vice World Champion. Kalita s Zolotogo Grada became Champion of Europe!
At the principal Moscow Black Terrier exhibition, the Club Championship, our Vsevolod s Zolotogo Grada became the Breed Champion! And Nikola Gorynych s Zolotogo Grada became Young Breed Champion!

In 2004 Nefertiti s Zolotogo Grada becomes Vice Champion of Europe and Nikola Gorynych s Zolotogo Grada confirms his title by winning the Europe Championship 2004 in Barcelona. At the Breed Club Championship Nefertiti s Zolotogo Grada turned Breed Champion and Best Black Terrier of the Year!

Anya and Angelo s Zolotogo Grada in 2005 maintained the tradition of their father by winning the Young Champion of Europe 2005 awards in Tulln, Austria. Angelo, in turn, became Best Junior. At the Club Championship Nefertiti s Zolotogo Grada won Breed Champion. Angel Hranitel s Zolotogo Grada won Young Breed Champion.

2006 - at Europe Championship in Finland Ariadna s Zolotogo Grada turned Vice Champion of Europe 2006 and Vivat Labrash s Zolotogo Grada turned World Champion 2006 in Poznan! Odry Milashka s Zolotogo Grada turned Young Vice World Champion 2006. At the Breed Championship Nikola Gorynych was awared Best Black Terrier of the Year and Breed Champion! Zlatoslav Labrash s Zolotogo Grada won Young Breed Champion! At the Interclub Championship in Moscow Odry Milashka s Zolotogo Grada turned Best Black Terrier and Young Club Champion, while Nikola Gorynych s Zolotogo Grada turned International Breed Club Champion!

In 2008 at the Club Championship in Moscow Centurion s Zolotogo Grada won Club Champion! At the Europe Championship in Budapesht our Zhar Ptitza s Zolotogo Grada became Young Champion of Europe!

In 2009 at the Breed Club Championship Centurion s Zolotogo Grada for the second time became the Club Champion and Best Black Terrier of the Year! Ofeliya s Zolotogo Grada became a Young Club Champion. At the Interclub Championship Centurion s Zolotogo Grada won Best Black Terrier! At the World Championship 2009 in Bratislava the kennel had two World Champions: Zhar Ptitza s Zolotogo Grada and Yupiter s Zolotogo Grada!

2010 - At the Breed Club Championship Karamelka s Zolotogo Grada, the best female of the breed, won Club Champion! And a still very young Vinovnitsa Torzhestva (Hero of the Day) s Zolotogo Grada fully confirms her name and becomes Young Club Champion and Best Breed ! That same year Vinovnitsa Torzhestva s Zolotogo Grada won Young Champion and Best Breed at the Europe Championship in Slovenia. As for the Interclub Championship, Vinovnitsa Torzhestva s Zolotogo Grada won Interclub Champion and Best Breed too!

Here you will not find an angry or a cowardly dog, all our pets are cheerful and happy, they love people and enjoy communicating and being at exhibitions. The dogs have a great nervous system and excellent working capacity. Many dogs are checked for dysplasia. We understand the prime importance of getting healthy dogs and try to test for dysplasia before using dogs for breeding. The kennel’s founder which you will find in every breeding background of each our dog, a famous breeder that left a big mark in the breed: the World and Breed Champion Bart Barby s Bronnich. A dog that has incredible character and fantastic moves: a true champion of the prize ring! He managed to pass on to his descendants the combination of power, a great bone and light, sweeping moves. In the breeding process we not only implement our very own dogs but also use leading breeders from other kennels, trying to combine the best blood and exterior.
